Print UPC, EAN, JAN, Bookland (ISBN), and ISSN bar codes from within
any Microsoft Windows or Macintosh application. The barcode fonts in
UPCTools can be used with your desktop publishing, database,
spreadsheet, or custom application. It’s literally as easy as changing
fonts. |
|
UPC, EAN/JAN, Bookland, and ISSN bar codes are found on retail
items that get scanned at the cash register. Everyone doing package
design needs to create these barcodes. UPC symbols are also found on
shipping labels, forms, and catalogs. Book covers contain a Bookland
bar code based on the ISBN number. Outside of the US and Canada, EAN
and JAN bar codes are used. International periodicals have an ISSN bar
code. All of these different types of bar codes can be made using
UPCTools.
The UPCTools font package includes ten different fonts used to create
full-height or half-height (truncated) symbols, with or without the
human-readable digits beneath the bars. Whether you’re creating camera-ready
artwork or database reports, UPCTools is the tool you want. Use the bundled
utility to create UPC symbols quickly and easily.
The best way to learn more about UPCTools is to read
the product’s documentation.
Printing from within another application? No problem, we’ve got plenty of free
sample code to get you started. Our sample code contains functions and
application add-in’s that integrate UPCTools into your applications. The sample
code eliminates the need to write the necessary code from scratch. If you want
to print UPC bar codes in Crystal Reports, use our user function library.
