What's New in Studio Enterprise 2011 v3
The 2011 v3 release of ComponentOne Studio Enterprise features a brand new
studio, new controls, and product enhancements across all the popular .NET
platforms. Studio for Entity Framework joins the expansive Studio Enterprise in
this release, making Microsoft Entity Framework unbelievably easy and even more
powerful. For those that need reporting tools, the addition of Reports Designer
Edition to Studio Enterprise is sure to please. The release also debuts an array
of ASP.NET AJAX controls, including new HTML5 gauges and chart types.
Studio for Entity Framework 2011 v3
The new Studio for Entity Framework simplifies and enhances the Microsoft
ADO.NET Entity Framework and RIA Services. It provides performance enhancements
such as fast loading and transparent scrolling over infinitely large data sets
with Virtual Mode. You can use it with ComponentOne UI controls or with any
others in WinForms, WPF and Silverlight applications.
Studio for WinForms 2011 v3
The 2011 v3 Studio for WinForms release brings tremendous value to our
C1Report customers with the addition of Report Designer Edition. Now WinForms
customers can get redistribution rights to our C1ReportDesigner application
allowing them to deliver report designing to end-users.
Studio for WPF 2011 v3
The ComponentOne Studio for WPF 2011 v3 release includes a new OutlookBar
control, binding markup extensions, and enhancements for several controls.
Studio for Windows Phone 2011 v3
In August C1 released Studio for Windows Phone, which includes over 15 UI
controls for data visualisation, rich text, data input and layout, as well as
four class libraries which speed up development time. This Windows Phone control
suite is available in Studio for Silverlight, Studio Enterprise, and Studio
Ultimate. New updates in this release include four touch-based controls:

Silverlight
The 2010 release brings you the fastest and most complete Silverlight data
grid on the market. ComponentOne DataGrid not only provides the widest feature
set, but also has the quick, responsive loading and scroll experiences for the
largest datasets; proven to load over 100 million cells of data. In addition to
this major update, you can also expect enhancements to popular controls
including RichTextBox, TreeView, Book, and more. This release version is
compatible with Silverlight 3 and Silverlight 4.
Following v1 we will release a refactored version of Studio for Silverlight.
This version focuses on taking full advantage of all new classes and features
found in Silverlight 4 by releasing a new line of upgraded controls tested
against the new framework (all fully compatible to our Silverlight 3 controls).
You will be able to take advantage of Silverlight 4 improvements yourself
through our controls without having to rewrite any of your existing code or
XAML. This version will not be compatible with the Silverlight 3 Framework, but
will be backward compatible to our Silverlight 3 controls.

because a 64-bit system can maintain a much larger cache of data in memory.
