ActiveReports for .NET comes with a Microsoft® Access report conversion wizard that makes importing Access reports a breeze. ActiveReports for .NET includes filters for exporting to popular formats like Adobe PDF, Microsoft Excel, RTF, HTML, Text and TIFF in both Windows- and Web-based applications. A chart control is included with ActiveReports that supports common 2D and 3D chart types and provides advanced charting features as well as native exporting to various image formats. The Windows Viewer control supports report zooming and previewing, multiple tabs for viewing hyperlinks, split- and multi-page views, a Table of Contents pane, thumbnails, text searches, annotations, and toolbar customisation.

SharpGraph for .NET

SharpGraph offers built-in support for 2D and 3D chart types, data binding capability, completely customisable graph elements such as titles, labels, annotations and legends, and fully integrated Visual Studio .NET help, including Dynamic Help. A robust sample application is also included that illustrates SharpGraph’s basic features and highlights some of its advanced capabilities.

SharpGraph also offers some features that will help make your graphs stand out, including graphics that leverage GDI+ technology, alpha blending, gradients, and anti-aliasing. SharpUI for .NET

SharpUI for .NET is a fully managed component and provides integration with the Microsoft Visual Studio .NET IDE.

SharpUI Toolbars features a command-based architecture, dockable toolbars, menus, and tool windows, built-in keyboard state labels for status bars, Office 2003, 2000, XP and Internet Explorer toolbar styles, an easy-to-use layout designer, an icon editor, layout files that can be saved to XML or stream, and full run-time customisation.

SharpUI Input controls include an enhanced textbox with mask edit and hint text options, a multi-column combo box, a barcode control, date and time pickers, a gradient progress band, scrollbars, and more. The ability to subscribe the input controls to a style manager allows flexible design customisation and makes it easy to keep a user interface appearance consistent across applications.

ActiveBar

ActiveBar 3.0 delivers complete Microsoft Office and Visual Studio toolbars, menus and dockable windows emulation in a small and easy-to-use ActiveX control. ActiveBar 3.0 removes the limitations of system menus and toolbars and allows you to provide complete run-time customisation and personalise environments in your applications.

ActiveBar includes menus, context menus, toolbars, tabbed toolbars, shortcut bars, detachable toolboxes and status bars. It provides dockable forms and allows ActiveX controls to be hosted on toolbars. ActiveBar also provides a status bar that supports a variety of panel types (Date, Time, Ins, CAPS, NUM, and SCRL). Support for saving and loading layouts for run-time use or for creating shared tool libraries is also included.

ActiveBar features a unique WYSIWYG designer that works directly on your forms, a Menu Grabber to capture complete menus from running applications, and an Icon Designer that provides large and small icon support.
 

ActiveReports

ActiveReports combines the power and ease of Microsoft Visual Basic with advanced ActiveX Designer component technology to provide the ultimate report designer for Visual Basic developers.

ActiveReports is fully integrated in the Visual Basic programming environment. It feels and works like VB with no more cryptic scripts or workarounds. ActiveReports provides a fully open architecture that lets you use VB code, ActiveX, and OLE Objects in your reports so you can handle the toughest of reports without limits.

ActiveReports includes a Report Wizard that steps you through creating simple reports without writing any code. The wizard is integrated into the Visual Basic environment as an add-in module.

ActiveReports is based on the Active Designer specification, which allows a component to be integrated into the hosting design environment, and allows it to make full use of the environment's services.

The designer is a fully compliant ActiveX control and object host. You can insert any control or OLE object, such as a graph or document, into your reports. OLE objects can be bound to BLOB fields in your database.
 

ActiveSizer

ActiveSizer is four controls in one: a form resizer that automatically resizes all controls on your form; a splitter control that provides multiple split views on your form; a scroller that allows the form contents to scroll when the form is too small; and a subform hosting control that allows a form to display a child form in a panel.

Form sizing is based on a design-time grid layout, which specifies the proportional size of each child control. The grid rows and columns can be size-locked to prevent sizing them at run time. The grid layout provides maximum flexibility in controlling the run-time size of the child controls.

In addition to the sizer, the control can function as a run-time splitter control by specifying certain grid boundaries as splitters. Splitters allow the user to control the areas of each side of the splitter at run time. Multiple sizer controls can be nested within each other to further customise the sizing of the form.
 

DynamiCube

DynamiCube is an open, interactive OLAP tool, implemented as an internet-enabled lightweight ActiveX control. DynamiCube makes it possible for you to build Internet and client/server applications that provide end users live interaction with massive databases, exploring, and summarising staggering quantities of data instantaneously.

The power of a multidimensional OLAP tool, coupled with the Data Dynamics MicroCube persistent data storage technology (built-in), yields astonishingly small, manageable data objects. SharpGrid is a full-featured database-aware ActiveX grid control. It can be used in bound (both OLEDB and ICursor), unbound, and virtual data modes. SharpGrid has all of the features expected from a grid control: fast and easy manipulation of tabular data, powerful display capabilities, easy-to-use unbound mode, easy-to-use event and interface-based virtual modes, Outlook-style grouping, and more.

SharpGrid is based on a per-developer licensing scheme, and it is royalty free to distribute. But it doesn't stop there. SharpGrid has some unique features that will make your application stand out: group calculations, row filtering, preview pane, stage-driven custom draw model, XML layouts, HTML export, scroll tips, cell tips, frozen columns and rows, alpha blending and more It can also be used in both Windows-based and Web-based applications.

SharpGrid also includes the ActiveReports Viewer control which provides Print Preview functionality.
