NLS™ is a licensing, activation and registration service. Nalpeiron’s aim is to strike the right balance between protecting your applications and enhancing the end user experience.

NLS™ provides over 1000 Nalpeiron customers worldwide with tools to control and manage their Application Software throughout it's lifecycle. The Nalpeiron Licensing Service™ is provided as a Hosted Service as well as the The Nalpeiron Licensing Server™ on-premise based solution.

NLS™ allows software publishers to control, market, measure, report and manage their applications plus capture license abuse - all online. It also enables you to price, package and protect their software in a variety of flexible ways. Selling software any way your customers want to buy it. This flexibility enables you to use feature, subscription, leasing and usage-based models to maximise revenues. We call it Total License Agility™.

The NLS™ should not be compared to other simple activation products. It has considerably more features and power. NLS is built for Visual Studio 2008 and is platform agnostic, working on Windows and Mac platforms (with Linux coming 2008). Of course it’s compatible with most of the languages you’re likely to be using, including Visual Basic, Visual C++ and C#, Borland C++, Delphi and XCode. The tools are simple to deploy and work with all types of installation tools like InstallShield and is even integrated into Wise Installation Studio.

NLS™ is API based allowing you total control of the look and feel of your application while providing a significantly higher level of anti-piracy protection. In addition, you have the benefit of a total solution that enables you to not only offer Internet based activation but a publisher control center at the back-end that enables you to manage your licenses as you wish 24x7x365 without any engineering.

The Nalpeiron Licensing Service™ client side infrastructure is based on a patent-pending technology called Protect-n-Forget (PnF)™ that doesn’t store easily alterable files on the user’s computer or alter the registry. Neither does it require a connection to the Internet to monitor licenses. Protect-n-Forget (PnF)™ eliminates the need for complex alphanumeric license keys, and makes it easy to move a license using floppies, USB Flash Drives and our web server.

Versions and pricing:

NLS™ is supplied in two versions, Standard and Pro. Each license is for a single Product and includes everything you need to copy protect and control your software including free support and updates.
