MicroWay at the 2026 L&D Leadership Summit Melbourne

08 June 2026

The MicroWay team was pleased to represent Articulate at the 2026 L&D Leadership Summit Melbourne, held on 6–7 May at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The summit brought together senior HR, learning and development leaders, solution providers and industry professionals to explore the future of workplace learning, leadership and capability development.

MicroWay participated as a Summit Partner, representing Articulate and showcasing how Articulate 360 can help organisations create engaging, scalable and effective eLearning.

Connecting with the L&D Community

Across two days, we had the opportunity to connect with L&D leaders, industry professionals and a number of existing MicroWay clients who were also part of the event.

It was great to reconnect with organisations including AustralianSuper, DeakinCo, DuluxGroup, Leidos Australia, Viatris, EnergyAustralia, QBE Insurance, Arts Centre Melbourne and Village Cinemas, among others.

These conversations gave us the chance to hear how teams are currently using or exploring Articulate 360, discuss new features such as AI Assistant and localisation, and understand where organisations may need further support with eLearning, training development and digital learning workflows in 2026.

Conversations Around the Future of Workplace Learning

The event brought together around 200 attendees and created a valuable opportunity to speak directly with HR and L&D professionals about their current learning challenges, goals and priorities.

A strong theme across the summit was the need to create better learning experiences faster. Many teams are looking for ways to simplify course creation, improve learner engagement and make training easier to update and scale across their organisation.

At the MicroWay booth, the team had conversations around Articulate 360, including AI Assistant, localisation, Rise 360, Storyline 360, licensing options, training support and local guidance for Australia and New Zealand.

What L&D Teams Were Talking About

Some of the main topics that came up during the event included:

AI-powered course creation

Many attendees were interested in how AI can help speed up the process of creating online training, from drafting content to building quizzes and supporting learning design workflows.

Articulate AI Assistant was a key point of interest for teams looking to reduce development time and create learning content more efficiently.

Localisation and translation

For organisations supporting teams across different regions or languages, localisation was an important topic.

Many L&D teams are looking for more efficient ways to adapt learning content for different audiences without having to recreate courses from scratch.

Faster training development

Course creation speed continues to be a priority for learning teams.

Many organisations are looking for tools that help them build, update and publish learning content more efficiently, while still creating engaging and practical learning experiences.

LMS and compliance training

There were also plenty of conversations around LMS requirements, compliance training and how Articulate content can support existing learning systems and reporting needs.

This continues to be important for teams managing onboarding, regulatory training, internal capability programs and workforce development.

Licensing, plans and local support

Attendees also asked about Articulate 360 licensing, pricing, plans and training options.

For Australian and New Zealand organisations, access to local product guidance and support can help teams better understand their options and get more value from their eLearning tools.

Teams interested in seeing the tools in action can also explore MicroWay’s Articulate webinars and live demos.

Thank You for Visiting Us

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by the MicroWay booth to say hello, ask questions, share their learning challenges or chat about Articulate 360.

The summit was a valuable opportunity to connect with the L&D community in Melbourne, see familiar faces and hear directly from teams about what they need from their learning tools.

Thank you also to HR Leadership Network (APAC) for hosting such a well-organised and engaging event.

We look forward to continuing the conversations and supporting more organisations across Australia and New Zealand with their eLearning needs.
